Healthy Breathing Habits

Hi, I’m Jane Tarrant, a leading Breathing Habit Educator, TEDx & International Speaker, Author & Breathing Retrainer.

I am incredibly passionate about improving accessible education on healthy breathing habits. To improve our performance, recovery & health, we need to look at more than just breathwork, mindfulness, meditation & yoga. We need to retrain our breathing habits.

I love working with ‘optimisers’, for example professional athletes, high performance teams, CEOs, lawyers & leaders. I also love the fact I can support those who have been overlooked by the medical system and are struggling with stress, anxiety, panic attacks, breathlessness, snoring, poor sleep and so much more.

I help by empowering, as well as hand holding through the process of improving and optimising breathing habits.

How can breathing habit retraining benefit you?

Feel Healthier

Experiencing unhealthy breathing related symptoms? Snoring, panic attacks, anxiety, fatigue, foggy brain, breathlessness, asthma, poor sleep, tired muscles? Retraining your 24/7 breathing habits is crucial.

Feel Empowered

We often don’t realise what tools are within our control. By understanding yourself and your breathing better, you can adapt how you perform, respond and feel. Wouldn’t you like to know how to utilise these tools?

Feel Safe

Our bodies react to stressors all day long. You can use breathing awareness to notice when your body does not feel safe and consciously control your breathing until you notice a positive calming change.

Would you like breathing retraining support to help with unhealthy breathing such as:

dysfunctional breathing | anxious breathing | asthmatic breathing | mouth breathing | restricted breathing | upper chest breathing | snoring

What is 24/7 breathing retraining?

Breathing retraining with LiNK BREATHING is the process of taking breathing habits back to basics, improving awareness, addressing unhealthy habits and gradually training new healthier breathing habits over time. Conscious breathing habits then influence subconscious breathing habits, resulting in powerful changes to mood, productivity, sleep, concentration, physical performance and relationships. This results in healthier breathing habits all day and all night, aka 24/7.

What are unhealthy breathing habits?

You may recognise the following unhealthy breathing habits as part of your usual breathing patterns.

  • Mouth breathing

  • Snoring

  • Sleep apnoea

  • Over breathing or hyperventilation

  • Shallow breathing

  • Fast breathing

  • Upper chest breathing during rest

  • Restricted diaphragm breathing

  • Intermittent breathing

  • Regular sighing or yawning

  • Regular stress breath holding e.g. during emails 'aka email apnoea'

We breathe more than 20,000 times per day. Imagine if those 20,000 were just slightly healthier each time. That is incremental improvement with very little effort.

Do you fear breathlessness on stairs?

Is snoring affecting your sleep quality & your partner’s?

Do you feel unable to switch off without alcohol?

So basically…

I help busy people improve anxiety, snoring, mouth breathing, fatigue, over-breathing, tiredness, nasal congestion, burn out and lack of body awareness. This helps improve energy levels, health, sleep, relationships, performance & the feeling of empowerment. We work with wasted time, scraps of time and moments of awareness. This is why my teaching style is so popular with business owners, CEOs, lawyers and those with ADHD.

Is one-to-one support all about breathing?

Whilst I’m about as passionate as they come about breathing, I offer my clients so much more.

Although breathing retraining can be the main focus, often breathing awareness is an entry point to better self awareness, leading to even greater empowerment and health.

Non-Judgemental Chat

My clients feel comfortable to tell me things they don’t even feel comfortable telling their spouse. They feel able to share on a level they’ve never felt safe to before.

I help you become comfortable with the uncomfortable so that you can make progress.
